EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about the importance of slaughtering animals in a humane way. It was narrated by Rafi bin Khadij that the Messenger of Allah said, "If the blood is shed and the name of Allah is mentioned, then eat, unless (it is slaughtered) with teeth or nails". This means that when an animal is slaughtered for food, it should be done in a way that does not cause unnecessary pain to the animal. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also taught us to mention Allah’s name when slaughtering animals as a sign of respect for all living creatures. We should also remember to treat animals kindly and not use our teeth or nails to kill them as this would cause them unnecessary pain and suffering.
