EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates an incident from the time when Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was alive. It talks about a practice called 'Tamattu', which involved sacrificing a cow on behalf of seven people, and then sharing it among them. This shows us that even in those times, people were generous with their resources and shared whatever they had with others. It also teaches us to be kind to animals, as sacrificing cows was part of this practice. Furthermore, it encourages us to be generous with our resources and share whatever we have with others who are in need.
