This hadith is about making use of resources. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) passed by a dead goat and asked why the owners did not make use of its skin. This teaches us to be resourceful and to utilize all available resources, no matter how small they may seem. We should never waste anything, as everything can be used for something beneficial in some way or another. It also teaches us to think outside the box when it comes to problem-solving, as there are often multiple solutions that we can come up with if we just take the time to think about it.
