Obey God and His Messenger .

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's curse on the Jews for melting down animal fat which was forbidden to them. It was narrated by Ibn'Abbas that 'Umar heard that Samurah had sold some wine, and he said, "May Allah ruin Samurah! Does he not know that the Messenger of Allah said, 'May Allah curse the Jews, for animal fat was forbidden to them, but they rendered it.'" Sufyan then explained what this meant; they melted it down. This hadith teaches us that we should not disobey God and His Messenger even if others do so around us. We should also be aware of our actions as we are accountable for our own deeds in front of God Almighty.
