Prohibiting Wearing and Riding on Hides of Predators

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) forbade wearing the hides of predators and riding on them.

It was narrated that Khalid said: "Al-Miqdam bi8n Ma di Karib came to visit Mu awiyah and said to him: I adjure you by Allah, do you know that the messenger of Allah forbade wearing the Hides of predators and riding on them? He said: 'yes".
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ بَحِيرٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ وَفَدَ الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ مَعْدِيكَرِبَ عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَنْشُدُكَ بِاللَّهِ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَهَى عَنْ لُبُوسِ جُلُودِ السِّبَاعِ وَالرُّكُوبِ عَلَيْهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of wearing and riding on hides of predators, as narrated by Khalid. It was reported that Al-Miqdam bin Ma di Karib visited Mu awiyah and asked him if he knew that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) forbade wearing the hides of predators and riding on them. Mu awiyah answered in affirmation, indicating his knowledge about this prohibition. This hadith teaches us to be mindful when it comes to our clothing choices, as well as our actions, so that we may stay within the boundaries set by Allah SWT through His Messenger PBUH.
