QUICK LESSONS:
Respect all things and take care to ensure items are purified before using them in any way.

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by 'Aishah tells us that the Messenger of Allah taught us about the purification process for hides from dead animals. He said that tanning it would purify it, meaning that by treating the hide with certain chemicals and processes, it can be made clean and suitable for use. This is an important lesson to learn as we must take care to ensure our items are purified before using them in any way. We should also remember to treat all things with respect, even if they come from a source which may not seem pure or holy at first glance.
