Purifying Hides of Dead Animals

SUMMARY: The Prophet taught that tanning hides of dead animals purifies them.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Prophet was asked about the hides of dead animals". He said: "Tanning it purifies it".
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ عَنْ جُلُودِ الْمَيْتَةِ فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ دِبَاغُهَا طَهُورُهَا

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad was asked about the hides of dead animals, and he taught that tanning it purifies it. Tanning is a process in which animal skins are treated with chemicals and oils to make them more durable and less susceptible to decay. This hadith teaches us that by tanning the hide of a dead animal, we can purify it so that it can be used for other purposes. This hadith also teaches us the importance of taking care when dealing with things related to death, as they should be handled with respect and care. We should also remember to use our resources wisely, as even something as simple as a hide from an animal can be purified and used for something beneficial.
