Be aware of people's statuses before making any promises or pledges with them; Stand up for justice and freedom; Show mercy & kindness towards all people regardless of their social status.

This hadith tells us about an incident that happened during the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). A slave came to pledge his emigration, but the Prophet did not realize he was a slave. When his master came looking for him, the Prophet offered to buy him and set him free. This teaches us that we should always be aware of people's statuses before making any promises or pledges with them. It also shows us how important it is to stand up for justice and freedom, as well as how much mercy and kindness our beloved prophet had in his heart towards all people regardless of their social status.
