Make your parents happy no matter what you do or where you go in life; Show your love for your family; Put your parent's happiness first; Strive towards making sure they are always smiling; Respect their wishes even if it goes against yours.

This hadith is about the importance of making your parents happy. It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr that a man came to the Prophet and said he wanted to emigrate but his parents were weeping. The Prophet advised him to go back and make them smile as he had made them weep. This teaches us that we should always strive to make our parents happy no matter what we do or where we go in life. Even if it means going against our own wishes, it is important for us to put our parent's happiness first. We should also remember that even when they are not around, their love for us will never change and so it is important for us to show our love for them too by making sure they are always smiling.
