Reverting to Disbelief After the Prophet's Death

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) warned against reverting to disbelief after his death.

It was narrated from Masruq that: The Messenger of Allah SAW said: "Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone". It is Mursal.
أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ لاَ تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ مُرْسَلٌ

This hadith warns against reverting to disbelief after the death of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. It is narrated by Masruq that the Messenger of Allah said, “Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone”. This hadith emphasizes that one should remain steadfast in their faith and not turn away from it even after the passing of the beloved prophet. It also serves as a reminder for us all that we should continue on our path of righteousness and never give up our faith no matter what happens in life. We must remember that Allah is always watching over us and will reward us for our good deeds if we stay true to Him and His teachings.
