The Consequences of Fighting Between Muslims

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) warned that if two Muslims fight each other and one kills the other, they will both be in Hell.

It was narrated from Abu Musa that: The Prophet SAW said: "If two Muslims confront each other with swords, and one kills the other, they will both be in Hell". It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed?" He said: "He wanted to kill his companion".

QUICK LESSONS:
Resolve differences peacefully without resorting to violence or aggression towards one another.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is a warning from the Prophet Muhammad to all Muslims about the consequences of fighting between them. He said that if two Muslims confront each other with swords and one kills the other, they will both be in Hell. This means that even though one person may have been killed, they are still responsible for their actions and will face punishment for it. It also shows how serious Allah takes any kind of violence between believers, as He does not want us to hurt or harm each other in any way. We should strive to resolve our differences peacefully and without resorting to violence or aggression towards one another.
