Sunan an-Nasai 4029 (Book 37, Hadith 64) #18562
Punishment for Disobedience

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) offered a group of people from Uraina to drink the milk and urine of his camels as a form of healing, but they instead killed the herdsman and drove away the camels. As punishment, their hands and feet were cut off and their eyes were gouged out.

It was narrated that Anas said: "Some people from Uraina came to the Messenger of Allah SAW and the Messenger of Allah SAW said to them: 'Why don't you go out to our camels and stay with them and drink their milk and urine?' So they did that, and when they recovered, they went to the herdsman of the Messenger of Allah SAW and killed him, reverted to being disbelievers, and drove off the camels of the Prophet SAW. He sent (men) after them, and they were brought to him. He had their hands and feet cut off, and their eyes gouged out".

QUICK LESSONS:
Obey Allah's commands even if it seems difficult or strange .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how disobedience can lead to severe consequences. It was narrated by Anas ibn Malik that some people from Uraina came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ seeking healing. The Prophet ﷺ suggested that they drink milk and urine from his camels as a form of treatment, but instead they killed his herdsman, drove away his camels, and reverted back to being disbelievers. As punishment for their actions, their hands and feet were cut off while their eyes were gouged out. This hadith teaches us that we should always obey Allah's commands even if it seems difficult or strange because disobedience can lead to severe consequences in this life as well as in the hereafter. We should also be mindful of our actions because Allah is watching us at all times so we must strive to do what is right even when no one else is looking.
