QUICK LESSONS:
Show others kindness and compassion even when they make mistakes.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the mercy and compassion of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). It was narrated by Anas ibn Malik that eighty men from 'Ukl came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and they had killed a herdsman. Instead of punishing them, he showed them mercy and did not have their wounds cauterized. This teaches us that even when we make mistakes, we should be shown mercy and compassion instead of punishment. We should also strive to show others this same kindness in our own lives.
