The Commandment to Fight for the Oneness of Allah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was commanded to fight people until they accept the oneness of Allah and whoever does so, their life and wealth will be safe from him.

Abu Hurairah narrated that : The Messenger of Allah SAW said: "I have been commanded to fight the people until they say La ilaha illallah, and whoever says it, his life and his wealth are safe from me, except for a right that is due, and his reckoning will be with Allah".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the commandment given by Allah to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He was instructed to fight those who do not believe in the oneness of Allah until they accept it. Whoever accepts this belief, their life and wealth will be safe from him except for any right that is due. It also implies that everyone's reckoning will be with Allah alone. This hadith teaches us that we should strive for justice and fairness in our dealings with others, as well as respect other people's beliefs even if we don't agree with them. We should also remember that ultimately, our fate lies in God's hands alone and He is the ultimate judge of all things.
