Revelation of the Quran to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Through Aishah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was revealed the Quran by Allah through Aishah, his wife.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'O Umm Salamah, do not bother me about 'Aishah, for by Allah, the Revelation has never come to me under the blanket of any of you apart from her'."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَاذَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ يَا أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ لاَ تُؤْذِينِي فِي عَائِشَةَ فَإِنَّهُ وَاللَّهِ مَا أَتَانِي الْوَحْىُ فِي لِحَافِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْكُنَّ إِلاَّ هِيَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how the revelation of the Quran was sent to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was narrated by 'Aishah, one of his wives. She said that he told her not to bother him about her because no other person has ever been revealed with the Quran except for her. This hadith teaches us that we should be grateful for what we have and not compare ourselves with others. We should also be respectful towards our elders and those in authority over us.
