QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for excellence in whatever you do

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the superiority of 'Aishah, one of the wives of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In this hadith, it is mentioned that her superiority over other women is like that of Tharid over other kinds of food. Tharid is a traditional dish in Arab countries which consists mainly from bread and meat or vegetables. This hadith implies that just like Tharid stands out among all types of food due to its unique taste and flavor, similarly Aisha stands out among all women due to her unique qualities and virtues. This hadith also teaches us that we should always strive for excellence in whatever we do as it will make us stand out from others and be remembered for our good deeds even after our death.
