Make wise decisions; Seek forgiveness from Allah when mistakes are made; Offer expiations when necessary; Do what is best .

This hadith teaches us that if we make an oath or promise to do something, but then later find a better option, we should offer expiation for our original oath and choose the better option. This is because Allah has given us the ability to think through our decisions and choose what is best for us. We must use this ability to make wise choices in life.
