The Gift of Inheritance

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that if someone gives a lifelong gift to another person, it belongs to the recipient and their descendants.

It was narrated from Hisham bin 'Urwah, from his father, from 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair, that the Messenger of Allah said: "Any man who gives a lifelong gift to another man, it belongs to him (the recipient) and to his descendants, and to those who inherit from him".

QUICK LESSONS:
Give gifts with no expiration date or time limit attached to them so they can benefit others in the long run.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about the importance of giving gifts that can be passed down through generations. It is narrated by Hisham bin 'Urwah, from his father, from 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair that the Messenger of Allah said any man who gives a lifelong gift to another man will belong to him and his descendants forever. This means that when someone gives a gift with no expiration date or time limit attached to it, it will remain with the recipient and their family for generations. This is an important lesson in generosity and kindness as it encourages people to think beyond themselves and consider how their actions can benefit others in the long run.
