Inheritance Rights According to 'Umra

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that if someone is given something on the basis of 'Umra, it belongs to them and their descendants, and can be inherited by those who inherit from them.

Al-Awza'i narrated from Az-Zuhri, from 'Urwah, from Jabir, who said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever is given something on the basis of 'Umra, it belongs to him and to his descendants, and is inherited by those who inherit from him'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect for one's inheritance rights; Passing down these rights through generations; Unity within families; Respect for others' property/rights; Honoring traditions/pilgrimages such as Umrah .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about inheritance rights according to 'Umra. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that if someone is given something on the basis of 'Umra, it belongs to them and their descendants, and can be inherited by those who inherit from them. This means that whatever a person receives as a result of performing an Umrah pilgrimage should be passed down through generations in the family as an inheritance right. It also implies that this right should not be taken away or denied by anyone else outside of the family. This hadith emphasizes the importance of respecting one's inheritance rights and passing down these rights through generations in order for families to remain strong and united.
