This hadith is about the importance of inheritance and bequeathing wealth. When a man was sick and had no children apart from one daughter, the Prophet advised him to bequeath one-third of his wealth. This shows that it is important for people to divide their wealth among their heirs in an equitable manner. It also teaches us that we should not leave our family members without any provision after our death.
