EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance and rewards for being good. It was narrated by 'Urwah that he heard the Messenger of Allah say that goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection, meaning it will always be present in this world. Furthermore, this goodness will be rewarded with spoils from war. This hadith teaches us to strive for goodness in our lives as it has its own rewards which are greater than any materialistic reward one can receive in this world. It also encourages us to stay away from evil and wrongdoings as they do not have any reward or benefit attached to them.
