EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a woman named Fatimah bint Qais who was married to Abu 'Amr bin Hafs bin Al-Mughirah and was divorced by him with three talaqs. She then went to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for advice on what she should do next and he told her to move into the house of Ibn Umm Maktum, a blind man. Marwan refused to believe that this was allowed but Aishah denounced Fatimah for it as it was in accordance with Islamic teachings. This hadith teaches us that when we are faced with difficult situations such as divorce or any other problem in life, we should seek guidance from Allah through prayer and consultation with knowledgeable people such as scholars or religious leaders so that we can make decisions which are in line with Islamic teachings.
