Treating Children with Love and Care

SUMMARY: The child should be treated with love and care, while fornicators should be punished.

It was narrated from 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah said: "The child is the bed's, and for the fornicator is the stone".
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَلاَ أَحْسُبُ هَذَا عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَاللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ
