Follow Allah's commands and repent through offering an appropriate expiation for our actions when necessary .

This hadith is about how one should not forbid themselves from something that Allah has allowed them to do. In this case, it was a man who wanted to forbid himself from his wife, but Ibn 'Abbas told him that was not allowed and recited a verse from the Quran.
