Narrated Sufyan b. QUICK LESSONS:
Obey your parents/elders when they urge you to do something; Have patience; Trust Allah's plan; Have faith that whatever He has planned is best for you even if you don't understand it at first glance .

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith narrated by Sufyan b. Abu Zuhair, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ warned people against migrating from Medina to Yemen, Sham and Iraq even though those places will be conquered in the future. He said that although these places may seem attractive due to their conquest but it would still be better for them if they stayed in Medina as it was a blessed place for Muslims. The main values taught in this hadith are patience and faith in Allah's plan as well as obedience towards one's parents or elders who may urge them to migrate elsewhere despite knowing that staying put would be better for them. It also teaches us that we should always trust Allah's plan and have faith that whatever He has planned is best for us even if we don't understand it at first glance.
