Sunan an-Nasai 3328 (Book 26, Hadith 133) #17940
Decree of Allah Cannot Be Prevented

SUMMARY: The Prophet (PBUH) taught that whatever is decreed in the womb will come to be, and it is not possible to prevent it through coitus interruptus.

It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed Az-Zuraqi that a man asked the Messenger of Allah about coitus interruptus and said: "My wife is breast-feeding and I do not want her to get pregnant". The Prophet said: "What has been decreed in the womb will come to be".

QUICK LESSONS:
Accepting fate, Trusting God's wisdom and mercy

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about the decree of Allah and how it cannot be prevented. It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed Az-Zuraqi that a man asked the Messenger of Allah about coitus interruptus, which is a method used to prevent pregnancy. The man said he did not want his wife to get pregnant while she was breast feeding. The Prophet replied by saying "What has been decreed in the womb will come to be". This means that whatever has been predetermined by Allah will happen no matter what we do or don't do. We must accept this decree and trust in His wisdom and mercy even if we don't understand why something happened or didn't happen.
