This hadith is about a woman who offered herself in marriage to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The narrator of this hadith is Thabit Al-Bunani who was with Anas bin Malik when this incident happened. Anas bin Malik's daughter was also present at that time. The woman asked the prophet if he wanted to marry her but he declined her offer and did not accept it. This hadith teaches us that even though marriage is an important part of life, it should be done according to Islamic teachings and principles as laid down by Allah SWT and His Messenger ﷺ .
