Treat your spouse with respect and kindness regardless if they are male or female; strive for balance and fairness in your relationships so both partners can benefit from it; give equal amount of time to all your spouses if you have multiple ones.

This hadith is about the importance of equality in marriage. It was narrated by 'Ata' that when attending the funeral of Maimunah, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH), Ibn Abbas said that the Prophet used to give a share of his time to all eight wives equally. This shows us how important it is for couples to be equal in their relationship and not favor one over another. It also teaches us that we should treat our spouses with respect and kindness regardless if they are male or female.
