The Reward for Charity

SUMMARY: Giving charity in the cause of Allah will be rewarded on the Day of Resurrection.

It was narrated from Abu Mas'ud that a man gave a bridled camel in charity in the cause of Allah. The Messenger of Allah said: "On the Day of Resurrection seven hundred bridled camels will come to you".
أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيَّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، تَصَدَّقَ بِنَاقَةٍ مَخْطُومَةٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ لَيَأْتِيَنَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِسَبْعِمِائَةِ نَاقَةٍ مَخْطُومَةٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the reward for giving charity in the cause of Allah. It was narrated from Abu Mas'ud that a man gave a bridled camel in charity and the Messenger of Allah said that on the Day of Resurrection, seven hundred bridled camels will come to him as a reward. This hadith teaches us that when we give charity, it is not only beneficial to those who receive it but also to ourselves as we will be rewarded by Allah on the Day of Judgment. We should strive to give whatever we can in charity and trust that our good deeds will be rewarded by Allah.
