The Prophet's Night Journey to Mina

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) sent Ibn 'Abbas to Mina with the luggage from Jam' (ie Al-Muzdalifa) at night.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet sent me (to Mina) with the luggage from Jam' (ie Al-Muzdalifa) at night.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ بَعَثَنِي ـ أَوْ قَدَّمَنِي ـ النَّبِيُّ فِي الثَّقَلِ مِنْ جَمْعٍ بِلَيْلٍ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the journey of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from Al-Muzdalifa to Mina at night. He sent his companion, Ibn Abbas with the luggage for this journey. This hadith teaches us that we should always be prepared and ready for any task that is assigned to us by our elders or leaders and carry out our duties diligently and responsibly even if it means travelling in the dark of night. We should also be obedient and follow instructions without hesitation or delay as this was a trait of many companions of the prophet Muhammad ﷺ who were known for their obedience and loyalty towards him.
