Rewards for Good Deeds in the Cause of Allah

SUMMARY: Doing good deeds in the cause of Allah will be rewarded with a higher level in Paradise.

It was narrated that Abu Najih As-Sulami said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah and it hits the target, it will raise him one level in Paradise'. That day I shot sixteen arrows that hit their targets". He said: "And I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, it is equal to the reward of freeing a slave'."
