EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains the clothing that a Muhrim should wear while performing Hajj or Umrah. A Muhrim is someone who is in a state of Ihram, which is an important part of both these pilgrimages. According to this hadith, a person in Ihram should not wear any shirt, turbans, trousers, hooded cloak or dress perfumed with saffron or Wars. If slippers are not available then they can wear Khuffs but they must be cut so that it reaches below the ankles. This shows us how important it is to follow certain rules and regulations when performing religious duties like Hajj and Umraah as Allah's Messenger has instructed us to do so in order to gain maximum reward from Allah SWT for our deeds.
