Praying Maghrib and Isha in Jam (Al-Muzdalifah).

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad prayed Maghrib and Isha in Jam (Al-Muzdalifah) with one Iqamah.

It was narrated that Ibn Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah prayed Maghrib and Isha in Jam (Al-Muzdalifah) with one Iqamah".
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ بِجَمْعٍ بِإِقَامَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's prayer of Maghrib and Isha at a place called Al-Muzdalifah. It was narrated by Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah prayed these two prayers with one Iqamah. An Iqamah is a call to prayer that is made just before the start of salat or prayer. Al-Muzdalifa is an area located between Mina and Arafat during Hajj or pilgrimage to Makkah. This hadith teaches us about the importance of praying our salats on time as well as following the example set by our beloved prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. We should strive to pray our salats on time like he did so we can reap its rewards both in this world and hereafter inshallaah.
