Delivering A Sermon On Arafat Day

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) delivered a sermon on the day of Arafat atop a red camel.

It was narrated from Salamah bin Nubait that his father said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah delivering a Khutbah on the day of Arafat atop a red camel". (Hasan) Chpater 200. Delivering A Short Khutbah In 'Arafat
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ نُبَيْطٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ عَلَى جَمَلٍ أَحْمَرَ

On the day of Arafat, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave an important sermon to his followers. He was riding atop a red camel when he delivered this sermon. This hadith highlights the importance of delivering sermons and conveying knowledge to others in order to spread awareness and understanding among people. It also shows us how Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was always willing to go out of his way for his followers, even if it meant giving speeches while riding on top of a camel! This hadith teaches us that we should be willing to do whatever it takes in order to spread knowledge and understanding among people, no matter how difficult or uncomfortable it may be.
