Marriage During Ihram

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) married Maimuna while he was in the state of Ihram, but only the ceremonies of marriage were held.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet married Maimuna while he was in the state of Ihram, (only the ceremonies of marriage were held).
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ تَزَوَّجَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that it is permissible to marry someone while in a state of ihram.
