SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) went around the Kaaba on his mount during the Farewell Pilgrimage, so that people could see him and ask him questions.

Abu Az-Zubair narrated that he heard Jabir bin Abdullah say: During the Farewell Pilgrimage the Prophet circumambulated the House and went between As-Safa and Al-Marwah on his mount so that the people could see him and he could see them, and they could ask him questions, and the people crowded around him.

QUICK LESSONS:
Stay close with your faith leader in order to gain knowledge about your religion; be eager to learn more about your faith; show love towards your prophet or religious leader; perform pilgrimage rituals such as going between As Safa and Al Marwa seven times during Hajj or Umrah .

EXPLANATIONS:
During the Farewell Pilgrimage, also known as Hajjat al Widaa', Prophet Muhammad PBUH went around the Kaaba on his mount so that people could see him and ask him questions. This was a way for them to get closer to their beloved prophet and learn from his teachings. He also went between As Safa and Al Marwa which are two hills in Mecca where pilgrims go back and forth seven times as part of their pilgrimage rituals. This event was important because it showed how much love people had for their prophet and how eager they were to learn from him. It is a reminder for us today to stay close to our faith leaders in order to gain knowledge about our religion.
