Take necessary precautions for self protection from potential danger caused by vermin .

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that there are five animals which can be killed both inside and outside the sanctuary, these animals are vicious dogs, crows, kites, scorpions and mice. These animals are considered vermin as they cause harm to humans or their property. It is permissible to kill them in order to protect oneself from any harm they may cause. This hadith teaches us that it is important to protect ourselves from any potential danger by taking necessary precautions such as killing these vermin when needed.
