QUICK LESSONS:
Respect life & sanctity of haram ; Be kind & compassionate towards all living creatures ; Find humane ways for dealing with pests/vermins .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that there are five kinds of vermin which may be killed inside or outside the Haram, which is a sacred area. These vermin include crows, kites, vicious dogs, scorpions and mice. This hadith teaches us that it is permissible to kill these animals if they are causing harm or disruption to people or property. It also teaches us that we should respect the sanctity of the Haram by not killing any other animals within its boundaries.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us to be kind and compassionate towards all living creatures, even those considered pests or vermin. We should only kill them if they pose a threat to our safety or property; otherwise we should try our best to find humane ways of dealing with them such as relocation or humane traps.
