QUICK LESSONS:
Respect religious practices
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's marriage while he was in a state of Ihram. In Islam, when a person is performing Hajj or Umrah they enter into a state of holiness called 'Ihram'. During this time certain activities are forbidden such as getting married. However, the Prophet Muhammad was an exception to this rule and was able to get married while in this state. This hadith serves as an example for Muslims that even though certain activities are forbidden during times of holiness, exceptions can be made if it is necessary and beneficial for the individual or society at large.
