Sacrificing Sheep and Staying with Family

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) sent sacrificial sheep and stayed with his family while not in a state of Ihram.

It was narrated that Aishah said: "I remember twisting the garlands for the sacrificial sheep of the Messenger of Allah, then he sent them and stayed with us as a non-Muhrim (not in a state of Ihram)".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي أَفْتِلُ قَلاَئِدَ هَدْىِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ فَيَبْعَثُ بِهَا ثُمَّ يُقِيمُ فِينَا حَلاَلاً

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) practice of sacrificing sheep for religious purposes. This shows us that even though we may have religious obligations to fulfill, it is important to also spend time with our families. It teaches us that we should prioritize both our spiritual life as well as our relationships with those closest to us.
