Making Garlands for Hadi and Avoiding What Muhrim Avoids

SUMMARY: The hadith is about Aishah's experience of making garlands for the Hadi (sacrificial animal) of the Prophet Muhammad and how he did not avoid anything that a Muhrim (person in a state of Ihram) avoids.

It was narrated that Aishah said: "I used to twist the garlands for the Hadi of the Messenger of Allah. Then he would not avoid anything that the Muhrim avoids".
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَفْتِلُ قَلاَئِدَ هَدْىِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ لاَ يَجْتَنِبُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا يَجْتَنِبُهُ الْمُحْرِمُ

This hadith is about Aishah's experience with making garlands for the sacrificial animal of Prophet Muhammad. It was narrated that she said she used to twist the garlands for it and then he would not avoid anything that a person in a state of Ihram avoids. This hadith teaches us to be mindful when performing religious duties such as sacrificing an animal or going on Hajj pilgrimage. We should take care to follow all rules and regulations set by Allah so we can perform our duties properly. Additionally, this hadith also teaches us to be respectful towards those who are performing religious duties as well as those who are helping them do so.
