Preparing Garlands for Sacrifice

SUMMARY: The hadith is about Aishah's experience of preparing garlands for the Hadi (sacrificial animal) of the Prophet Muhammad before it was sent to its place of sacrifice.

It was narrated that Aishah said: "I used to twist the garlands for the Hadi of the Messenger of Allah, then he would send them, then he would do whatever the non-Muhrim does before the Hadi reached its place (of sacrifice)".
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَفْتِلُ قَلاَئِدَ هَدْىِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ فَيَبْعَثُ بِهَا ثُمَّ يَأْتِي مَا يَأْتِي الْحَلاَلُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَبْلُغَ الْهَدْىُ مَحِلَّهُ
