QUICK LESSONS:
Dedicate oneself fully when performing an act of worship

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the pilgrimage to Makkah, known as Hajj. It was narrated by 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, only performed one type of Hajj called Ifrad. This means that he did not combine it with any other type of pilgrimage or worship. He solely dedicated his time and energy to this one form of worship during his journey to Makkah. This hadith teaches us the importance of dedicating ourselves fully to our acts of worship and not combining them with anything else in order for them to be accepted by Allah Almighty. It also shows us how devoted the Prophet was in his acts of worship and how we should strive to emulate him in this regard.
