QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic principles/teachings when it comes to using fragrances or scents .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad taught us that it is not permissible to use saffron as a perfume. This hadith was narrated by Anas bin Malik, one of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad. He said that the Messenger of Allah forbade perfuming oneself with saffron. This prohibition applies to both men and women and is meant to be followed by all Muslims who wish to practice their faith in accordance with Islamic teachings. Using saffron as a perfume goes against Islamic teachings because it is considered an extravagance and wastefulness which are not allowed in Islam. Furthermore, using such fragrances can lead people astray from following Islamic teachings and values. Therefore, Muslims should avoid using any type of fragrance or scent that goes against Islamic principles and teachings.
