EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates a description of the Prophet Muhammad's appearance when he was in a state known as Ihram. In this state, Muslims are required to wear two pieces of white cloth and abstain from certain activities such as cutting their hair or nails. According to this hadith, even while in this state, the Prophet Muhammad still looked beautiful and attractive due to his glistening perfume. This teaches us that even when we are performing religious duties or obligations, we should still take care of our physical appearance and strive for beauty. It also shows us that it is permissible to use perfume while in a state of Ihram if done so modestly and without excessiveness.
