QUICK LESSONS:
Respect religious figures, Follow Islamic teachings with attention to detail

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of rituals in Islam. It was narrated that 'Aishah said that she put perfume on the Messenger of Allah for his Ihram before he entered it, and for his exiting it when he exited it. This shows us how important rituals are in Islam, as they should be done with care and attention to detail. In this case, even something as small as putting on perfume was seen as an important part of entering or exiting a ritual such as Ihram. This hadith also teaches us about respect for religious figures; by perfuming the Prophet before entering or exiting a ritual, we can show our respect for him and our commitment to following Islamic teachings.
