The Rewards of Umrah and Hajj Mabrur

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that performing an Umrah and Hajj Mabrur will bring one closer to Allah and will be rewarded with Paradise.

It was narrated that abnu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'from one 'Umrah to another is an expiation for what comes in between, and Hajj al-Mabrur brings no reward less than Paradise'.''(sahih)
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ الْعُمْرَةُ إِلَى الْعُمْرَةِ كَفَّارَةٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَالْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُورُ لَيْسَ لَهُ جَزَاءٌ إِلاَّ الْجَنَّةُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the rewards of performing an Umrah and a Hajj Mabrur. An 'Umrah is a pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, which can be performed at any time of the year. A Hajj al-Mabrur is a special type of pilgrimage to Mecca that must be done during the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. According to this hadith, if one performs an 'Umrah or a Hajj al-Mabrur, they will receive great rewards from Allah in the form of expiation for their sins as well as entrance into Paradise. This hadith encourages Muslims to perform these pilgrimages in order to gain these rewards from Allah.
