Prohibiting Night Visits After Traveling

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade going to one's family at night after returning from a journey.

Narrated Jabir: The Prophet forbade going to one's family at night (on arrival from a journey).
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَارِبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ أَنْ يَطْرُقَ أَهْلَهُ لَيْلاً‏.‏
