Sunan an-Nasai 2539 (Book 23, Hadith 105) #17150
The Rewards of Charity

SUMMARY: Charity given from a husband's house will be rewarded to the wife, husband and storekeeper, without any of their rewards being diminished.

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet said: "When a woman give charity from her husband's house, she will have a reward, and her husband will have a similar reward, and the storekeeper will have a similar reward, without the reward of any of them detracting from the reward of the others in the slightest. The husband will be rewarded for what he earned and she will be rewarded for what she spent".

QUICK LESSONS:
Give charity generously and kindly with gratitude and compassion towards those who need help or support .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the rewards of charity. It was narrated by 'Aishah that the Prophet said when a woman gives charity from her husband's house, she will have a reward and her husband will have a similar reward and the storekeeper will have a similar reward without any of their rewards being diminished. This means that all three people involved in this act are rewarded for their part in it; the wife for giving away what she has, the husband for providing what was given away and the storekeeper for keeping track of it all. The Prophet also mentioned that none of these rewards would detract from each other; meaning that everyone involved would receive full credit for their part in this charitable act. This hadith teaches us about how important it is to give charity as well as how generous Allah is with His blessings when we do so. It also shows us how our actions can benefit others even if we don't directly see them receiving anything from us.
