QUICK LESSONS:
Make regular pilgrimages to Mecca with respect for your religion .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's four 'Umras that he performed in the month of Dhi-l Qadah, excluding the one he did with his Hajj. An 'Umra is a pilgrimage to Mecca that can be done at any time of year and does not have to be done during a certain period like the annual Hajj pilgrimage. The Prophet Muhammad performed three separate pilgrimages to Mecca during this month, as well as another one when he went for his annual Hajj pilgrimage. He also made an additional trip from Al Hudaibiya and another from Al Jr'rana where he distributed booty from the battle of Hunain. This hadith teaches us about how important it was for Muslims to make pilgrimages to Mecca and how much respect they should have for their religion by doing so regularly and faithfully. It also shows us how generous and kindhearted our beloved prophet was by distributing booty from a battle among those who needed it most.
